The Spanish government has launched the Strategic Project for Economic Recovery and Transformation (Perte) in Industrialized Housing, an initiative aimed at accelerating construction through innovative and sustainable methods.

Key aspects of the project:
1. Reduced timelines and costs: Industrialized construction technologies will speed up processes and make housing more affordable, particularly for young people.
2. Sustainability: Minimization of waste and emissions, aligning with European environmental standards.
3. Valencia as a pilot region: The project will start in the Valencia province, with potential expansion to other areas.

According to the Ministry of Housing, Perte will also improve labor conditions in the sector and promote gender diversity by increasing female participation.

Relevance for Barcelona:
The success of the Valencia pilot could inspire similar policies in Catalonia, enhancing the availability of sustainable and affordable housing in Barcelona and its metropolitan area.

"Modern construction methods balance supply and demand. They benefit investors, buyers, and the environment," emphasized Minister Isabel Rodríguez.
