For the fifth consecutive year, Barcelona, the vibrant capital of Catalonia, has been named among the top three European cities for startup entrepreneurs. According to the Startup Heatmap rankings, Barcelona is only surpassed by London and Berlin in this prestigious list.
Following closely behind Barcelona in the rankings are Amsterdam, Paris, and Lisbon. Other Spanish cities also feature in the list, with Madrid taking the 11th spot, Malaga at 19th, Valencia at 33rd, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria at 40th, and Bilbao at 44th.
Entrepreneurs highly value Barcelona for its favorable blend of cost and quality of life, easy access to a wide range of products and services, the availability of skilled workforce, and its outstanding digital ecosystem.
